recent work: minor – development for visual storyelling
Miracle Pulse (with Shanna Koudijs and Marie Aarts)
In an urban city where emotions are magic, the ever-positive Miracle Girls protect the people from vampires who feed on gloom. A new misfit member is the missing puzzle piece to becoming more powerful and defeating the evil Vampire Queen.
A project I worked on with Shanna Koudijs (who did the animation for the main characters) and Marie Aarts (who did the backgrounds). In this intro, I was mainly involved with the music and secondary/background animation elements.
I worked on this in the minor Development for Visual Storytelling, where I learned about developing animated properties, writing and designing characters, and finally animating a trailer for them. At the end of the minor, I pitched our project for a crowd and a jury consisting of a few artists.
Miracle Pulse also won the Keep an Eye Foundation Development for Visual Storytelling Award!
